New Season of 5v5 Infantry Announced

We are pleased to announce another competition for the BF1942 community. We give you the Spring 2009 5v5 Infantry League:

Sign ups are currently open. Maps are being finalized and will probably consist of both customs and regular maps. You may give your input on the maps to be used by going to the league forums:

We are hoping to start by April 1st with a sign up deadline currently set for March 22nd. All teams are encouraged to join and as long as we have enough teams, there will be both a US and Euro Division. Get your teams ready for war!

BF1942: Oktoberfest 2008

SoV Leagues is pleased to announce another great season of BF1942 action. We will be launching BF1942 Oktoberfest which will focus on 8v8 conquest action.

Teams may begin to sign up. We are looking to complete registration by 10-31 so that we can begin play beginning of November.

The complete rules and maps will be finalized in the coming weeks. But we are looking at having both a Europe Division and a American division. Format will be all 8v8 conquest. We are even looking at having a no base-camping rule for this event.

In addition, I am also considering allowing up to 10 days between matches in the Europe division to compensate for other leagues teams compete in as a clan. US division will most likely remain weekly matches.

For the past four years, SoV has been running off an old template that we bought when we were just starting off. That site more than served its purpose over the years and we were proud to call it our home. But, times are changing now here at SoV Gaming and we want to share with your our new website.
